Gen Con Starts Thursday Aug 2nd 2011, 12:22 One of the largest gaming events of the year, Gen Con, starts on Thursday in Indianapolis, Indiana. About 25,000 gamers attend Gen Con each year at the Indiana Convention Center (attached to Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts). Board games, collectible card games, roleplaying games and miniatures games are all featured. And you're certain to see more than a few people dressed in full costume as their favorite characters.
