The Rivals for Catan - Review Jul 22nd 2011, 13:37 The Catan Card Game was originally published in 1996, the year after the brilliant board game The Settlers of Catan. Last year, designer Klaus Teuber completely revamped the game and a new version -- titled The Rivals for Catan -- was published.
